Saturday August 14 - Sail from 2pm to 4pm, Picnic Party 5-8:30pm
Hold the date and get your sailboat ready for a fun afternoon sail about the lake. Our goal is to fill the lake with sails! We'll be setting up buoys around the lake for this casual sail about, followed by a lively picnic party and musical entertainment on the SLYC side on Juniper Island. All activity will be subject to government social distancing guidelines of the day.
Sail about 2-4pm: Club boats will be available. Don't have a sailboat - let us know and we'll find a spot for you on one, just email us at slycinfo@gmail.com *Please write 'Would love to sail' in the subject line. Prefer your power boat - come join us as well!
Picnic Party 5-8:30pm: Bring your own family picnic OR order a ready made picnic direct from Bryce Saunders at bryce@hobarts.ca of Hobart's Restaurant, McCracken's Landing. *Please write 'SLYC Picnic Party Order' in the subject line so he knows it's our party! Picnic menu will be shared in an SLYC Social event blast week August 1.
